Cluj English Teachers' Association is pleased to invite you to participate in the 23rd National RATE Conference

Cluj-Napoca, 14-15 November 2025

The conference aims to explore resilience in education in both learners and teachers, two distinct yet
interconnected perspectives. Teaching for resilience helps prepare students not just academically but
also personally and socially, equipping them to navigate an unpredictable world with confidence,
adaptability, and perseverance. On the other hand, resilient teaching is about being able to adapt and
continue teaching effectively in today’s complex educational landscape.
Participants will be invited to share practical strategies for building supportive, flexible learning
environments while also sustaining their own professional resilience.
The main strands and topics will be:

• Adapting teaching strategies and resources to today’s challenges
• Promoting problem-solving and coping skills
• Well-being for teachers and learners
• Raising awareness and taking action on global issues
• Promoting inclusive practices
• Incorporating AI technologies
• Rediscovering a sense of belonging through communities of practice
