The Pragmatic Functions of Repetition in Media Discourse

The study analyses the widely spread phenomenon of repetition in media discourse from a pragmatic point of view. The aim of the study is to identify and to describe its main functions. The study includes an argument underlining the omnipresence of repetition in our daily lives, a theoretical introduction and the main body of the study including data, results and conclusions. At the end of the study a bibliography is included.
